I was rejected by over 160 literary agents.

Decided to self-publish.

Worked my butt off. (Sorry if that sounds unprofessional but it’s true!) Studied marketing, sales, social media platforms/insights, watched videos, connected with followers, and worked on writing, editing, and formatting my book all by myself. Spent money from savings. Poured my heart and soul into my story because I believed in it. Published an unconventional, fast-paced YA Sci-fi Thriller with no spice, POC characters, and geared towards readers who don’t like Sci-fi. Grew my following. Jumped to 15k+ followers combined on all my platforms within one year. My book went live on Amazon on January 31st, 2026. Joined KDP select in March. Since then...

I’ve hit 151 books sales.

Was a Top New Release on Amazon opening week.

Have hit #45, #30. #28, #18, #9 on Amazon Bestseller Lists.

7,898+ pages read on KU.

127 adds on Goodreads.

Recruited a potential 230+ Arc readers for Book 2.

My MMC has hit over 1.5 million views on Insta.

My four/five star reviews are from readers who don’t typically read Sci-fi.
